Erin's September Favourites

I have been all over the place in September beauty-wise. For the first couple of weeks most of my beauty stash was packed (Katherine and I moved into a new apartment!), so only the best of the best made it out of the boxes right away. Here is everything that I have been reaching for everyday this past month!

L'Oréal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara – I still haven't found my "holy grail" mascara (although I have some favourites – Smashbox Full ExposureClinique Lash DoublingMarcelle Xtension Plus), but this one has really impressed me this month. The thin plastic wand really seperates the lashes. My only complaint is that sometimes too much stays on the wand and if I'm not careful applying it I can get a gloopy look.

RMS "un cover" cover-up – RMS is one of my favourite natural brands because I love the minimal aesthetic and great colour range. I wear the shade 11. This creamy concealer has a base of coconut oil, which leaves a light and fresh look on the skin. It offers good coverage too!

Pixi Glow Mist – I believe this is a relatively new product in the Pixi line. It needs a good shake first and then I lightly mist over my skin. I love using this after cleansing and moisturizing to give a really healthy shine. The natural oils, aloe vera and fruit extracts all leave my skin feeling very soft and hydrated without a tacky feeling. Lately I've been preferring a matte makeup base so I don't reach for it to set my makeup, but if you overdo powder this will absolutely freshen up makeup.

Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt Brush – Katherine and I both bought this brush and it was something that immediately stood out from Charlotte's makeup line. We had such a fantastic time meeting Charlotte herself and whenever I use this brush I'm reminded of the occasion!

Real Techniques Contour Brush – Recently I broke down how I like to use all of my Real Techniques brushes. This is one of my favourites from the brand and have it so versatile  - for blending in concealer, dusting on highlighting or setting powder in targeted areas, or applying cream bronzer or blush. It's so versatile and fits in all of the nooks and crannies of the face. This brush is part of the core collection and honestly, is worth it just for this one alone.
