Bath Time Favourites

Baths are such a lovely way to relax and recreate a spa experience. I love to throw on a conditioning hair mask and use my favourite eos shaving cream, and these are my other favourites that are always out during bathtime!

Clarins Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate – This came highly recommended from skincare beauty insider Caroline Hirons which is enough for me! It includes 100% pure plant extracts and essential oils that releases an amazing invigorating herbal scent from rosemary, mint, geranium, pine, juniper, and rosewood. The scent makes me feel immediately relaxed, plus the bubbles really last in the bath.

St. Ives Timeless Skin Mineral Clay Firming Mask – The apricot scrub by St. Ives was ditched in a skincare  routine revamp, but clearly the brand has more to offer. This kaolin clay mask dries on the skin and rinses off really well. Kaolin clay can help reduce inflammation and increase localized circulation. It does contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is known to cause irritation, but this mask just leaves my skin soft and clean.

Tell me I'm not the only one who still uses bar soap? There's something both traditional and convenient about it that really appeals to me.

Le Labo Rose 31 bar soap
– I love bringing the Le Labo liquid shampoo and shower gel minis to the gym, and although the bar soap is less conveninent to travel with, it has the same amazing Rose 31 scent. Normally I steer clear of overtly feminine floral scents, so I was pleasantly surprised with Rose 31. Notes of rose are balanced out with musk, cedar, vetiver, and caraway, so it has a decidedly unisex depth. This vegan, cruelty-free bar soap is made without parabens – it probably could have made an appearance in my list of green beauty favourites!

Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented bar soap – I have used this formula of Dove soap for years (it might compete with Aveeno body lotion for "Product I'm Most Loyal To"). It has a very mild formula that checks all the boxes: fragrance-free, unscented, and hypoallergenic. Plus, it's very creamy and moisturizing. The most sensitive skin types should stick to the unscented version, but Dove also does some beautiful scents in the go fresh range. I also enjoy the body wash version.
