These are all true favourites of mine, and not just because of the fantastic packaging... but it definitely helps! My criteria was both pretty and practical – so nothing's flimsy here. I've also included links to reviews of the makeup but today I'm just going to talk about why the packaging is perfection.
Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 002 Fair – This has simply smart packaging with a hard plastic tube that will hold up being thrown into your weekend bag. The pump dispenses just enough product for a light layer over my whole face. The lid has the 'CD' insignia and securely closes with a snap. Each shade also has a different colour tube, which makes shopping for your shade easier (you could even bypass the testers).
Stila Convertible Color – Did I mention "perfect for travel"? The lightweight and sleek plastic case is coloured to match the product inside, making it easy to spot. The lace effect on the top is really pretty, plus there's a mirror. (Click for review.)
Japonesque Velvet Touch Finishing Powder – The colourful watercolour finish of this powder is literally one-of-a-kind. It's made with a hand-injected gel technique that creates unique and individual cases for each piece. I like that there isn't an extraneous powder puff taking up real estate. (Click for review.)
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette – The art deco style of this ultra luxurious case makes me dream of touching up with this in the ladies' powder room at a Gatsby party. The weighty rose gold, satisfying snap closure and large mirror inside all add up to one perfect compact. (Click for review.)
