New In | Shopping Together

It's not often that we are able to shop together, which mightttt be for the best because we totally enable each other! Keep reading for our first impressions on our new buys. Let us know which products you want to see a full review on!

If there was one product that I always have to have on hand it would definitely be the Bioderma micellar solution. This is one of my holy grail products and I recommend purchasing the 500ml with a pump because the top screws off, whereas with the other bottles you can't remove the top. I like to decant this into smaller containers when I travel on the weekends. I have tried the Bioderma Sébium H2O (in a green bottle) as well for acne-prone skin but I found that it was not as effective at removing makeup. The original, pink bottle is meant for sensitive skin and is amazing at removing both face and eye makeup without irritating or tugging on your skin. If you haven't tried this yet... take my word for it, it's worth every penny and lasts quite a while.

I Purell quite a bit a work and I was finding that my hands were really starting to dry out. Erin had previously purchased the Dr. Bronner's hand sanitizer and mentioned that it wasn't very drying and smells great. I have now switched to using this hand sanitizer and have noticed my hands are a lot less dry and it makes my office smell like lavender, which is great!

Lately I have really become a fan of using an oil to take off my makeup and then cleansing my skin. When I was at the Erno Laszlo booth at the Holt Renfrew event a while back the lovely skincare specialist Kirsten told me about their oils. I picked up the Erno Laszlo Phelityl meant for sensitive skin. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but stay tuned and I will do a review soon.

A couple of weeks ago I got MAC False Lashes Extreme Black mascara as a freebie for winning a contest at work. I had never tried MAC mascaras and was interested in testing out the formula. I chose the non-waterproof formula and so far after a couple of uses it is pretty good but still doesn't compete with the L'Oréal Butterfly mascara that I'm a little obsessed with at the moment.

I really love the Antipodes Vanilla Bean Day Cream, the formulation is great and it has really helped to clear my skin. So when I was at Whole Foods with Erin I snatched up the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing night cream – I can't wait to try this and hopefully it's just as good as their day cream.

I've become obsessed with using natural rose water as my toner as I mentioned in my last empties post. Katherine counts the Andalou 1000 Roses Floral Toner among her favourite organic skincare products and suggested I try this one next!

Only three Charlotte Tilbury products were available for sale earlier this month when we went shopping (check our Instagram later when we are at the brand's launch party at Holt Renfrew). There's lots more that I want to try from the brand but I knew I had to form my own opinion on the famous Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. Expecting big things from this!

The kukui nut scent of the Alba Botanica Body Cream is what won me over – it's a warm and summery fragrance that has already earned a place in my summer body care routine.

Antipodes is one of our favourite natural brands and I picked up the Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser to try. Balm cleansers suit my dry skin so well.

Although I rarely wear false lashes, when I do, I use either individual ones or the Ardell 301 false eyelashes, which are super flirty and easy to use.
