In anticipation of the Canadian launch of Charlotte Tilbury makeup, we wanted to pick out some products from her line that we cannot wait to get out hands on. We just saw the makeup in ~real life~ for the first time this past weekend, but more on that soon. Charlotte Tilbury herself will be in Toronto on June 24th!
Here are the things that really make me want to spend a lot of money.
1. The Wonderglow Primer is vetted and recommended by Caroline Hirons. I got on so well with the Pixi Beauty Primer and I'll try just about anything that promises "skin luminosity". It's a highlighting primer with very fine gold glitter. Expect full reviews of everything we try soon!
2. My wishlist would not be complete without the Filmstar Bronze & Glow. My recent post exemplified my growing interest in contouring and highlighting – it makes me feel like a makeup pro! The contour shade looks suitably cool, and my skin is definitely fair enough (although I take issue with the fact that there isn't a palette for darker skins...).
4. Charlotte Tilbury is perhaps best known for creating sexy bedroom eyes and rock chick looks, which her eyeshadow quads are literally perfect for. The Dolce Vita Eye Shadow Palette is seriously stunning, and the garnet shade and glittery copper really flattered my blue eyes when the makeup artist at Holt Renfrew did a look for me (see it here).
2. Another item I'm eyeing is Charlotte's Magic Cream, a skincare item that people either love or hate. After reading Caroline Hirons' full review, I'm confident that this will work amazingly to prep my dry skin for special occasion makeup. I was sure to get a good whiff of the stuff because I'm really sensitive to scent in my skincare (remember the Clarins Blue Orchid oil?).
The Charlotte Tilbury beauty line will be available at Holt Renfrew June 22nd, but is also available for pre-order now at the Vancouver and Toronto Bloor St locations. The range is also available online via Tilbury's website for pre-order as of June 2nd.
Have you tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury?
