Mother's Day Event at Holt Renfrew

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Pamper Me Mother's Day event at Sherway Garden. I went with my lovely mother and got to explore all the new makeup and skincare releases for Spring. The event was held a Holt Renfrew in the Beauty Hall and every counter was showcasing a particular product. Some on the counters like Cle de Peau had a specialist come in for the event. Cle de Peau was offering eyebrow threading and Deborah Lippmann had a nail expert in house to give you a manicure.
Here is a lovely shot of my mom who attended the event with me.

Since the event was held in the morning we were given breakfast as well. There were lots of options including fruit, quiche and more continental pastries as well.

The new Christopher Kane Nars collection was on display so I had to make sure I checked it out. It is really lovely and has a range of super vibrant colour and more wearable shades as well.

At the Erno Laszlo booth my mom and I had the opportunity to try out the Hydra Therapy Skin Vitality Mask. I had used Erno Laszlo products before and loved them so I had pretty high expectations, to see a full review of their exfoliator check out my post here.

For ease we tested out the mask on the back of our hands. It's a really cool concept where you have to mix the two ingredients together in a bowl and then apply. It is a peel off super hydrating mask that cools your skin down by 5 degrees and leave it feeling nice and moisturized.

This would be great for the summer months after coming home from the beach and reintroducing the moisture that your skin needs.

The Jo Malone counter had invited an engraver into the store for the event and I was able to get my bottle signed with my name and a nice flower design on the front. I picked up the limited edition Lily of the Valley and Ivy scent. It is nice and fresh and floral, perfect for the warmer months to come.

This was a great event and I loved how intimate it was, only around 30 people which meant no waiting in line to try out any of the new products. Overall I had a blast and can't wait to go again next year.

How did you celebrate Mother's Day?
