Minimalist Necklaces

One of my fashion staples are minimalist silver necklaces. As much as I love statement or collar necklaces on other people, I've never fully gotten on board - instead, I typically wear one of these understated and elegant necklaces on the daily. I've included the prices as listed on the websites selling them, and the unique links to each one if you're interested (no affiliate links, I just love the necklaces!).

Anyone else guilty of buying trendy, cheap jewellery that leaves a telltale green ring? I haven't sworn off those quite yet, but all of these necklaces are sterling silver so no worries there!

Here are the necklaces as shown left to right:

ASOS Sterling Silver Open Circle Necklace (asos.com, $42)
It's back in stock! I modified the length of this one because I wanted the circle to hang longer over a black turtleneck, just like Elin Kling styles it.

India Hicks Love Letter Necklace (jrdunn.com, $150)
This necklace was a gift from my lovely parents for graduation - my mom wears the "J" necklace. I get a lot of comments on this necklace because of the unique pendant - it's my first initial turned around 4 ways.

Tiny Bar Necklace by minoux (shopanomie.com, $49)
This was the perfect way to support one of my favourite bloggers, Chelsea, and her independent online store anomie. The store sources a variety of amazing handcrafted items from independent artists and manufacturers - I highly recommend shopping on anomie!

Silver compass necklace (etsy.com, $34)
This necklace is near and dear to my heart as it was given to me by a very close friend. (Love you Laura!) The necklace came wrapped in a beautiful box and with a meaningful quote - making the Glitters Gift Shop on Etsy an awesome place to find a gift. And it's Canadian owned!

Hammered silver bar necklace (etsy.com, $126)
Although on the pricier side, this delicate necklace from Sea and Cake on Etsy is of impeccable quality. The hammered texture of the bar shows that's one-of-a-kind.
