Katherine's February Favourites

Even though last month was short there are a couple of great products I wanted to share with you. Erin and I were generously sent a couple of products from Oscar Blandi a few weeks back and I can now say that the Dry Shampoo Powder Spray* is amazing. The packaging is really nice and sleek and the product smells superb. It is a mix of lemon and verbena - its so much nicer then Batiste. I apply it to add volume to my roots while removing excess oil, plus it has some great ingredients like Vitamins B5 and E to strength the hair. Overall its a total winner.

The next item is the Sonia Kashuk Brush #121 which is great for applying foundation. I like to use my fingers to dab on my foundation then work it in with this brush. The pointed tips makes it easy to cover the areas around the nose and under the eyes to make sure everything is nicely blended.

For skincare this past month I have been loving the Origin Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. The weather in Canada has been bone-chilling so I am applying this once a week to help combat the cold. I apply this after cleansing my face in my evening skincare routine. It smells just like apricots and doesn't need to be washed off in the morning - adding up to an amazing product.

Finding a budget eyebrow pencil for a red head can be an extremely difficult task. I feel you sisters and misters!! I thought I would give the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel a try this month. And it's a MIRACLE, applied with a light hand it's a great match for my hair colour. I am so happy with this product I will be buying it for years to come.

To get a bit more of a glow in my routine, as recommended by Essie Button, I have been applying a thin layer of The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter underneath my foundation. This product is excellent at adding a nice inner glow without looking shiny or oily. I have been loving using this under the brow bone as well.

My final shout-out for the month of February goes to the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers. I know... I talked about them last month, so I won't talk about them too much. If you haven't tried them go to a Sephora and give them a whirl and you will understand the hype. This puppy is a staple in my routine everyday.
