Butter London No More Waity, Katie

I don't wear glitter polish nearly as often as it deserves, since nothing quite says fun like it. Unfortunately that also goes for  No More Waity, Katie by Butter London. The name is poking fun at Kate Middleton and was released ahead of the royal wedding in 2011. "One day my prince will come, and I will wrap him around my tiny, sparkling finger".

Jokes aside, this polish makes for a truly beautiful manicure. Lilac glitter subtly blends with the base "greige" colour, a range of shades made popular by Chanel's Particuliere. This is my only Butter London polish and I was impressed with the shiny finish, quick dry time and handsome bottle design. The base colour is slightly sheer, so that while I only did 2 coats, as you can see in the photo it still isn't completely opaque.

I definitely suggest using a good-quality base coat with glitter polishes. If you're worried about glitter polish damaging your nails, check out Katherine's nail care post for some helpful tips and product recommendations.
