Winter Haul

I recently did a bit of shopping at Holt Renfrew, Whole Foods and Shoppers Drugmart and here are the bits I picked up. While Christmas shopping at Holts, I discovered they carry a wide array of Oribe products and I knew I had to try the Dry Texturizing Spray. I will be doing a "Is it Worth the Hype?" post soon so stay tuned.

My next stop was Whole Foods. I went there with the intention of getting one of their brownies that everyone raves about. Then I discovered the natural makeup and skincare lines that they carry... Hallelujah. I was very happy to find out they carry Pai, Welda and Antipodes. The first thing I was looking for was a spray-on moisturizing toner so I grabbed the Andalou Natural 1000 Roses Floral Toner recommended for delicate and dry skin. I though this would be a great extra step for my skin in the winter months to hold onto some extra hydration.

I also picked up the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy at all and has really been helping my skin out after the microdermabrasion treatment I had done. The oil is very moisturizing and hasn't caused any breakouts on my skin which I was a bit afraid of.

The final item I got was Essie Sand Tropez nail polish from Shoppers Drugmart. I wore a red dress to my Christmas party this past weekend and needed a polish that would not compete with the vivid colour. I went for a nice neutral polish and was really happy with how the whole look turned out.

What bits have you picked up lately?
