My November favourites include some of my go-to's this time of the year when I like to have a matte but hydrated complexion and warm tones on the eyes. The Japonesque Color Velvet Touch Finishing Powder (at ULTA) is a simple translucent powder. There is no powdery fall-out and it doesn't dull or lighten my skin. I also love that the lid design of every Japonesque product is unique.
I love focusing on eyes during the cooler months; during the summer I usually can't be bothered to put on more than a bright lipstick. The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly works supremely well to cover up uneven eyelids while making eyeshadows last much longer by giving them something to "stick" to. This colour works as a good primary shadow so I can skip the typical "matte ivory from lashes to browbone" step. The warm red-brown tones of the Clinique Single Eyeshadow in Black Honey works great as a stand-alone shade, with just enough shimmer to be multi-dimensional.
