Current Skincare Routines

I should start off by saying that this is my routine for NORMAL/COMBINATION skin. Most of the time my skin is fairly well behaved but I do get the occasional spots every ones and a while. I start off my routine by removing my makeup and cleansing my skin using my Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. This stuff is amazing not only does it do a good job of taking you makeup off but it doesn't bother my eye at all and it takes off even waterproof mascara easily. Next I use some Bioderma on a cotton pad, just to make sure my skin is super clean and all my eye makeup is off. I follow up with a light night cream, I have really been liking the Neutrogena I also love it because it at a great price point. If I have a couple spots I'll use my Effalcar Duo on them. Finally my favourite lip balm the Nuxe reve de Miel, this is literally the most moisturizing lip balm ever and it smells delicious.

I've had to be extra conscientious about my skincare routine this summer because my skin has surprised me - I don't consider it "dry" at the moment. Instead my skin is acting "normal", but I was slow to adapt to the change and overloaded my skin with my usual products specific for dry skin (ie., a thick night cream). Having sorted that out, this is my routine for DRY & SENSITIVE SKIN

First I like to take off Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($35, link)
