Products I've Used Up | Spring Edition

I've been saving some of the products I recently finished and most of it is moisturizer - I may have an addiction!

The Origins GinZing Moisturizer has been raved about so I picked this up in the winter months to try and soothe my dry skin. First off, this product smells amazing - it has a strong citrus scent. If you are sensitive to scents I would probably recommend a different moisturizer. Personally, I love the smell; it is a great way to wake up your senses first thing in the morning. The texture and consistency is really smooth and very cooling when you apply it. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great overall face moisturizer that gets the job done.

The product I am most sad I have finished is the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm. This is my absolute favourite lip balm ever. It goes on matte and is super-duper hydrating. I apply this at night before bed and wake up with luscious lips. This pot lasted me almost 2 years and that's saying a lot since I use it all the time. It is expensive but for how long it has lasted me I would say it is worth it. This product once again has a scent - as the name suggests just like honey. I will be picking a new one up ASAP!

The Maybelline Mega Plush-Volume Express Mascara was a huge disappointment for me. I usually love Maybelline mascaras but this just fell flat. The wand is very flexible but that meant that little to none of the product coated my lashes. It added no volume or length. I would avoid this product and instead reach for something like Maybelline the Falsies.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Body Butter is amazing. It really sinks in quickly and does a great jobs adding moisture to the skin. It smells a bit like roses and is supposedly a dupe for the smell of Chanel products. I love this stuff but I wish it was a bit less expensive in Canada, and more comparable with the UK prices.

The last product is The Body Shop Body Butter in the scent Papaya. From these picture you can probably tell that I go through a lot of moisturizers and I like using the Body Shop body butters especially for moisturizing my feet. Its sandal weather right now and we all want to have nice soft feet. The thick formula is great for achieving super soft feet. For best results apply at night and sleep with socks on and you will be able to see a difference the next morning.
