Haul | Hunt for the Perfect Nude Lip

As you may know Sephora is currently having a 15% off sale for their VIB Rouge members, which I could not resist. I had to go in anyways for a return (a faulty Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil).

I had previously tried the St. Tropez Self-Tanner Bronzing Mousse sensitive skin version and was interested in getting one that got me darker faster (it took me two applications to get the colour I wanted). I picked up the regular St. Tropez Mousse because the dark mousse has been discontinued! I've since used this product and I do really like the super natural colour it gives. I highly recommend using their tanning glove with it for streak-free application (which I picked up but didn't photograph). Let me know if you want a post about tanning!

A few other skincare goodies: Olay Night Cream for sensitive skin, and 3 face masks from The Body Shop. You can expect to see a post on drugstore face masks very soon because I have been trialling quite a few.

My Sephora was also giving out makeup bags containing some samples, which I won't list but seem nice. I'm really curious to try the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 styling treament (link). Usually I'm not fussed about samples because I always forget to use them.

As for makeup (my favourite part!), I picked up the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Madeira (link) which is a super pigmented nude with a touch of pink. I'm definitely going to be doing a full blog post on my new nude lip combo because I am so excited about it - I've mentioned before that my lips are naturally very red and it is a struggle to wear anything "nude".

I also stopped by my local MAC counter and picked up a Cremesheen gloss (more on that to come) and the Paint Pot in Painterly. Painterly is definitely the perfect eyeshadow base for me and it's a great match for my skin tone - the pink tones in it cover up the eye area.

Last but not least, I picked up a Sonia Kashuk fan brush - my Target was fully stocked with her brushes. I'm loving using this to apply highlighter and keeps me from being heavy handed!

What do you wear for a nude lip?
