Haul | Lush, Essie, OPI & Sonia Kashuk

I've been really interested in skincare lately. My skin and lips have been very dry - desert dry - making it difficult to keep my makeup looking fresh and smooth. Harumph.

LUSH had a few bits to fit the bill: their Popcorn Lip Scrub to exfoliate my lips (duh) and the Rudolph Fresh Face Mask to "soothe and balance" my face. (Find them on LUSH's site here and here).

I've used both so far and really like them! The scrub has a great sweet and salty scent/taste and isn't overly rough on the lips. I love using it before applying long-wearing lipsticks - during the day I've been sticking more to balm and gloss based products. I don't think using a lip scrub is going to be a part of my daily routine though - and I could DIY lip scrubs (for a whole lot cheaper too!).

You need to keep it the masks in the fridge and so I love how cool it feels on the face. I really slap this on and it's easy to apply even though there are large pieces (of ?) in this mask. Also, mine didn't come with the jelly "Rudolph" nose - what's up with that Reggie? I did find the calamine scent to be a bit too much. I'd like to try different ones though since there are tons of products at LUSH.

I picked up this Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Crease Shadow Brush after the always chic Lisa Eldridge recommended it in a recent holiday gift guide video (watch her video here).

To round off the haul, I purchased a few exciting nail options for the winter scene: Essie On a Silver Platter and OPI Pure Lacquer Nail Apps. Expect a post on the Essie polish because it immediately went on my nails! I haven't tried OPI nail wraps (sorry, apps) before and I like this red print with dragons.

Have you tried nail wraps before? What are your LUSH favourites?
