Empties | Revlon, Covergirl & More

I definitely got my use out of the Covergirl True Blend Foundation in shade 1. I wouldn't repurchase this just because it's always nice to try something new - the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation (from this haul), which I purchased in a light shade to mix with other foundations or wear in the dead of winter when my skin is ghostly...

Neutrogena Hydrating Eye Makeup Remover is a good, better than average makeup remover. I like the cream formula and it doesn't have any noticeable smell - unlike the Gosh makeup remover which I've reviewed in depth. I would absolutely repurchase it, but right now I am using the Lancôme Bi-Facil Double Action eye makeup remover (see photos and more here).

I've also finished off several tubes of drugstore mascara: Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara, and Maybelline Mega Plus Volume Mascara. Of the three, I would repurchase the much-loved Lash Blast mascara since the wand's many bristles are short and get right into the eyelash line. I strongly disliked the Revlon Grow Luscious and considered doing a full post on it - a shame since I do like the brush (see below). This mascara has a very wet formula which never bodes well for separating my lashes. Worse of all, this made my lashes feel crunchy and stiff.

Garnier Fructis Deep Nourishing Masque lasted me for ages and I was happy with how it performed as a moisturizing mask. I don't mind the smell (similar to any of Garnier Fructis products). Right now the mask in my shower is L'Oreal's Total Repair 5 mask (see a photo here).

Just to give you an idea of the different mascara wands:
