Estée Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Trio

I recently picked up my first Estée Lauder eyeshadow trio and wanted to share my thoughts on the product with you guys. The name of the trio is Ombres à Paupières and it contains the colour 10 Ivory Slipper, 18 Sepia Sand and 33 Ivy Envy. All of the shadows have a satin finish to them.

I gravitated to this palette mostly for the first two shades: the middle colour Sepia Sand is perfect for an all over lid colour, and adding Ivory Slipper in the inner corner as a highlight. Obviously Ivy Envy is a lot more difficult to wear. I've been lightly adding it in my crease to define it. If you want to see a tutorial of this look let me know in the comments below!

Now back to the actually quality of the shadows: they are creamy and easy to blend, the pigmentation is good but not super intense. For Ivy Envy especially that's a good thing because I find I can control the amount of shadow on my brush a bit more easily. Overall I like this trio a lot, it's little and easy for travelling but gives you some flexibility to make either a natural or much more dramatic look all in the same set.

Have you tried any Estee Lauder shadows? What do you think of green eyeshadow?
